Haute Chocolate Fashion Show 2010 in New York

Wednesday night, while most fashion industry insiders were wrapped up in the hooplah that was the annual Victoria Secret runway show. Cocoa ores and fans of kooky fashion were treated to a feast for the eyes as models paraded down the runway in ensembles made from chocolate. Haute chocolate fashion show 2010 in model walked the runway at Metropolitan Pavilion, dripping in chocolate jewels in more dark, white, milk and bitter sweet styles hit the runway on Number 10 for the 13th Annual New York city Chocolate show.

Models were decked from head to toe in chocolate couture. Katie Champion models the chocolate “Sun Goddess” dress and head piece designed by award-winning pastry chef, Martin Howard. Haute Chocolate Fashion Runway Show in comprised looks created by 14 designers working in collaboration with pastry chefs and chocolate was designed by Betsey Johnson. Young chocolate lovers will have the chance to explore the wonderful world of chocolate while learning about the health benefits naturally found in chocolate.

Chocolate Show alums Nick Malgieri of the Institute for Culinary education and François Payard return for more demos, while the Peanut Butter crew will illustrate why peanut butter and chocolate are such good friends. Meanwhile, Christophe Mazeaud of Barry Callebaut will whip up some Mexican hot Chocolate while Billy Bakery will prepare chocolate cupcakes, both in fashion show.
